AMEROID MSD-PAK organic waste treatment is designed to keep marine sanitation devices, holding tanks, and sanitary systems operating at peak efficiency. AMEROID MSD-PAK treatment is a synergistic blend of patented strains of bacteria in a water soluble packet. These bacteria have been scientifically developed to promote the rapid breakdown and digestion of various forms of black and grey water waste including detergents, greases, fats, oils, paper and other organic materials commonly found in these systems.

On a regular basis, marine sanitary systems receive shock loads of laundry detergents, harsh cleaning agents, paper, fats, oils and greases. These heavy doses upset the delicate environment of the naturally occurring bacteria in the waste treatment system, rendering these bacteria inactive. When this occurs, the waste treatment process is slowed or stopped or deposits will build up in systems which do not rely solely on biological activity. The loss of biological activity is often characterized by foul odors which may be emitted from toilets and drains.

When used regularly, AMEROID MSD-PAK treatment will continually promote the presence of powerful waste-degrading bacteria which will ensure the sewage treatment unit is biologically active. AMEROID MSD-PAK treatment reduces the buildup of sludge and deposits in holding tanks, vacuum tanks and equipment, and assists in keeping the sanitary system free of organic waste.

AMEROID MSD-PAK organic waste treatment has received approval from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and has been assigned NATO number 7930222583623.
